Little Beeps

A thoughtful community for Tamagotchi fans

I have been meaning to blog for awhile but the mood escapes me when I get the time. My last blog was about Chamametchi, I have stopped playing her for the time being. She is so much fun, but I reached the highest level of friendship with her and since since she can be a little demanding, I am putting her on hold for awhile so I can make room for other Tamagotchi's and various V-Pets. I finally took the opportunity to start up the My Sapling. I have to say that it isn't the traditional V-Pet type. You don't feed it or anything. More just interaction. I actually took it with me to a religious convention, thinking since it is low maintenance and evolves and gets happier with sounds and light it would be a perfect place. Okay so it didn't get much light because I had it in the diaper bag in the side netting pocket. it did however get sound interaction and it changed 3 times in one day for. That and when Alton got unbearable fussy, I gave it to him for him to hold and play with when he wanted to get up and play, with sound off of course. It was odd though on the car ride to the hotel it changed backwards into it's second stage. I was confused because in my opinion it got quite a bit interaction. Oh well!!! The characters are so cute. Although, if your a fan of actually taking care of something, I wouldn't recommend it, but if you just like cute things with minimal care I would.
I am also running a Hanerutchi V1. I heard from an online friend that it plays like a Tamagotchi but with weird characters instead of cute ones. I thought "Hey I'm a lover of weird things. I should get one." So when I got one as a present (got with Chamametchi) I was rather excited. I started it up, and I am sorry to say that I was neglectful this weekend (see above) although I did bring it with me and played with it in the hotel. So I did finally send it packing and I restarted. I got a boy Puchitchi, an hour later like a normal Tamagotchi I got a Hitodetchi. So I was thinking did he get the wrong thing, I mean I thought this was a Hanerutchi. Well, to my delight when it evolved again I got a Tetsuyaji. He is quite a strange looking fellow. I like him just the same though. I always play the second game which is to jump and get the happy face in the box/hoop. He has 4 food options, one being Fish Eggs. 4 snack options, one is Lemonade I think. You have 3 games. The shopkeeper comes once a day, well I have only seen once day. I am going to save details for the next blog, since this turned out a bit longer then expected.

I ran my "My Sappling" a few years ago. Maybe that would be a good one to start again. Don't you have to press a button before you let it "see" or "hear" or "feel"? I'm forgetting.

I traded my pink for a blue >_< I regret that.

I've heard of both the My Sapling and Hanerutchi before, but I don't have either. Maybe someday I'll be tempted to buy them. :) I'm gonna have to send you an IM Kari, it's been ages since I talked to you!

Cool!! I've wanted a My Sapling for years. I almost bought one once but managed to talk myself out of spending the money. This is the pet in the spherical shell, right? They look so incredibly cute. I might buy one now that I've read your review. Where did you pick up yours?
